Navyug Electric Motors and Pumps Pvt. Ltd. is a 3-phase squirrel caged induction motor manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We manufacture motors for our customers in various industries such as textiles, plastics, engineering, chemical, cooling tower in HVAC applications, crane & hoist manufacturers. Our motors serve various applications in the same industries showcasing our strength and versatility in the type of motors that we manufacture. We were the first in the country to learn and develop direct driven motors as a better alternative to gear motors. We recommend our direct driven motors designs for the following reasons.
Wear and tear in direct driven motors is negligible, while gear motors are subject to wear and tear thus lowering the operating life of the motor
A helical gear box gear produces high axial thrust on bearings which requires a higher gauge bearing and still causes frequent failure of the bearings
Gear boxes require a maintained oil level Direct driven motors have a higher efficiency than their geared motor equivalent due to loss experienced due to the gears themselves
Direct driven motors produce higher torque than a gear motor
Direct driven motors are proven to be more reliable as the number of rotating parts in the system are fewer than the geared motor equivalent.
Direct driven motors account for low noise and vibration levels
